Non Surgical Nose Reshaping

The non-surgical nose job is a new and exciting alternative available to patients interested in improving the shape of their nose without undergoing invasive surgery.

What is a Nose Job without Surgery?

A nose job without surgery involves using injectable “fillers” that depending on the most adequate for your personal situation can be temporary or permanent fillers. The “filler” is injected into predetermined areas of the nose to help camouflage any imperfections such as humps and bumps or even slightly lift the tip of a droopy nose. If there is significant lift required then we perform a proprietary minimally invasive technique to better lift the nose.  The benefits of nose jobs without surgery are faster results, quicker healing time, and little or no pain. This is a relatively painless procedure that can be performed in just minutes. Through careful analysis of the ways to improve the shape and contour of the nose the surgeon will even out the nose and make it look like one smooth line.

Candidates for Non Surgical Rhinoplasty (Nose Job)

A nose job without surgery is an excellent option for patients who want a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure and who are looking for fast, satisfying results.
Unfortunately, those with major nasal deformities and those who are looking to significantly reduce the size of their nose are not candidates for the non-invasive nose job. For these patients, surgical intervention is necessary.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty avoids the risks of surgery and has no effect on nasal breathing since it involves only injection into the skin. The procedure is much more precise than surgical rhinoplasty, so more detailed adjustments to nasal contour are possible. You hold a mirror and you are in complete control of the procedure’s results. Most patients return to work on the same day of the procedure. The results are immediate. There can be a need for another touch up. Best of all, the cost is 1/10th of traditional rhinoplasty.

We also recommend a non surgical approach for a lot of patients suffering from poor results of their first nose surgery. In some cases result from injection rhinoplasty supersedes any revision surgery.

The following will permit you to compare the traditional Rhinoplasty performed by surgical means and the non surgical method we follow at Ciao Bella.

SAFETY:

Traditional Rhinoplasty

Surgery always carries inherent risks including scarring, infection, and anesthesia complications. Risks specific to rhinoplasty surgery include: Permanent difficulty breathing through the nose; unexpected and unwanted cosmetic results : ski-jump nose, too delicately small nose, “Caucasian” looking nose, pinched appearance to nostrils, etc. Persistent swelling; cartilage collapse or unexpected scarring causing a crooked appearance several years after surgery; recurrent nosebleeds and persistent numbness.

Non-surgical Rhinoplasty

Non-surgical rhinoplasty avoids the risks of surgery and has no effect on nasal breathing since it involves only injection into the skin. The procedure is much more precise than surgical rhinoplasty, so more detailed adjustments to nasal contour are possible. During the procedure, you are fully awake. You hold a mirror and you are in complete control of the procedure’s results. The Non Surgical Nose Job procedure does not cause nosebleeds or persistent swelling. The procedure is temporary or permanent, depending on the filler used and there are no long term scarring complications.

RECOVERY:

Traditional Rhinoplasty

Basic recovery from traditional rhinoplasty typically lasts about two weeks, normal activities can be resumed after several weeks, and the final results can take up to a year to appear. For the first week after rhinoplasty surgery, a splint is worn on the outside of the nose. Severe nasal congestion typically lasts about one week to ten days. Bruising around the eyes and the majority of swelling typically resolves in about two weeks. For six to seven weeks, eyeglasses, must be secured in a manner that prevents them from resting on the nose. Strong pain medication and cool compresses are typically required during recovery.

Non-surgical Rhinoplasty

Most patients return to work on the same day as the procedure. The results are immediate. There is no significant swelling or pain. We recommend that sunglasses or heavy eyeglasses be avoided for two weeks after the procedure, as the filler material becomes integrated into the skin and cartilage of the nose.

COSMETIC RESULTS:

Traditional Rhinoplasty

The results of traditional rhinoplasty are frequently good, but, whether good or bad, they are always permanent. Surgical rhinoplasty can result in over or under-correction, with potentially poor cosmetic outcomes. It can take a year for the final results to be visible. In the meantime, the look of your nose may not be desirable and the end result can be hard to predict.

Non-surgical Rhinoplasty

The injectable filler used in non-surgical rhinoplasty is injected in small amounts and in precise locations so that there is total control over the shape and contours created by the procedure. During the procedure you will be asked to look at your nose and provide feedback, meaning that you have total control over the end result.

The results are immediate and last from eight months to five years or more, depending on the type of filler that is used. Because the results are relatively temporary, adjustments can be made as your face changes over time and you always retain a natural look.

PRICE:

Traditional Rhinoplasty

On average, traditional rhinoplasty costs about $5,000.00 to $15,000.00. Subsequent to surgery you will have prescriptions for antibiotics and pain medications, which will be additional costs.

Non-surgical Rhinoplasty

At Ciao Bella the cost for Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is many times lower than surgical costs. Depending on your specific needs and the type of filler we will give you an estimate after your consultation with our surgeon. Our doctors will be charging a $50 dollar consult fee.
